Back to the Future

712 year old Heward Grafftey is throwing his hat into the ring, and has announced his candidacy for the Progressive Canadian (yes, he means P.C.) nomination in Brome-Missisquoi. In the press release, Grafftey thunders "Macdonald and Cartier would be the first to ask the citizens of Brome-Missisquoi to support my candidacy as a committed Progressive Conservative."

We expect follow-up P.C. press releases announcing Sir John A.'s nomination in Kingston and the Islands and Cartier's bid for a Montreal seat.

UPDATE: Can anyone confirm that the other four members of the "best five Members of Parliament" referred to by Heward were CCFers, Socreds and Walter Gordon? Does anyone have any clue what Heward's on about?
